Reaching Rimouski, the city of Rimouski is located on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, 310 km east of Quebec City. Thanks to its geographic position, it is an easily accessible regional centre. Whether you come by car, train, plane or boat, come for a visit.. It's easy!

The Mont-Joli Regional Airport is located 30 km east to Rimouski. Air Canada provides daily flights between the Rimouski region and Montreal or Quebec City.

LODGING
A group of rooms is reserved for attendees at Hôtel Rimouski until July 15th at a special rate of $109 CAN for single or double and $139 CAN for a suite. Participants are asked to make their own reservations. Remember to tell Hôtel Rimouski that you are attending SSMB 2005. Please contact:

These rates are in Canadian dollars and do not include 15% goods and services tax. Do not forget, the month of August is a very busy time of the tourist season, and Rimouski is in an important tourist region! Make your reservation early!
